A donut themed baby shower is a fun one for a first baby, or for a second baby’s “baby sprinkle.” You can incorporate donuts and sprinkles into the invitations, party food, decor, and party favors, and make it a colorful event. This is also a good theme for boys, girls, or gender neutral if you don’t know the baby’s sex yet. These are some ideas that I’ve rounded up for the supplies you’ll need to throw a memorable Sweet Donut sprinkle baby shower.

A donut bar.

Donut holes.
Put donut holes out and drizzle them with ice cream toppings like caramel or fudge.
Potato chips with sprinkles.
This sounds weird, but I promise it’s good if you like a salty sweet snack. Get some kettle-cooked chips (they’re sturdy) and dip them in melted chocolate, then sprinkle colorful jimmies on them before the chocolate cools off. People won’t eat as many as they would if the chips are plain, so you can get away with doing one or two bags at the most. It will be a nice break from the straight sugar of the donuts!
Coffee bar.
No donut party would be complete without coffee, so set up a coffee and tea station with different flavors of creamers and coffee so that people can enjoy their favorite combinations.

Donut assortment.
Naturally, you could give your guests a little bag of donuts to take home, or gift cards to a local donut shop. That might be too much, though, because you have to assume that they probably ate a lot of sugar at the party! A gift card to a local donut shop would let them sleep off the sugar buzz and get more later, so that could be your best bet if you want to go with a donut gift.
Coffee or tea.

You can give your guest a little set of ground coffee or tea, or gift cards to a local coffee shop. That would be totally on theme, and they could use that later when the sugar has worn off! You can get personalized bags in our Zazzle shop and add your own message to them.
This is a cute theme for a spring or summer baby shower if you use pastel icing, and you can also bring it into the fall months with fall themed flavors and colors. Let me know if you have any ideas that I can add to this list!
