If you’re looking for some golf gift ideas for him, or for things that you can put in a basket of golf prizes for a tournament, these golf gift basket ideas for men and women will get your started planning your golf basket ideas. I asked my husband, who is an avid golfer, what kind of things he would like to see in a golf gift basket, and these were his suggestions. These would work for a Father’s Day gift for an everyday golfer, or to put a gift basket for tournament winners or participants together.

Box of granola bars.
This might be considered to be a strange item, but granola bars are a handy snack to pack for the course. Put a few in a golf gift basket to round out the equipment vs. treats balance.
Hat or visor.
Hats are pretty much a required item on the course as far as I can tell. Add a cap or visor to your gift basket to complete the assortment of necessary gear.
Flask.
If you want to give the golfer in your life permission to do shots on the course (designate a golf cart driver) a flask will fit into a pocket or a golf bag easily. They can also hold water, so it doesn’t have to be alcohol, but that’s pretty much what people expect when they see a flask.
Thermal lunchbox and ice packs.
An extremely useful piece of golf equipment, especially during the summer. You could even use this as the gift basket container and pack it full of the other golf gifts.

A pair of sunglasses might come in handy, especially during the summer months, or for someone who likes to play when the sun is low in the sky.
Funny tshirts.
Golfers love to attract other golfers to talk about golf. A funny tshirt can be rolled up and put in a golf gift basket, or you can put them into promotional gift baskets after customizing them with your company logo.
Golf mug.
This is something that anyone will be able to use, and will let them think about their one true love (golf) whenever they drink their coffee.
Golf cart phone holder.
A golf cart phone holder will come in handy for someone who uses their phone for info about the course, or who wants to facetime people while they putt. Don’t ask me, I don’t know what people do while they’re driving a golf cart, but this is something that could go into a gift basket that they can use if they want to.
Golf trunk organizer.
For someone who’s obsessed with golf and who has all kinds of junk related to it in their car, a trunk organizer would be nice. Round it all up and put it somewhere that keeps it neat.
