Tell us a little about your shop and who you are.
Alla Dorogopulko is my name, and my business is Daisy STEM shop: “Planting the seeds of wonder & curiosity in the great minds of the future.”
I create whimsical cotton and washable dolls that enrich and inspire.

How long have you been selling on Etsy?
I’ve been selling on Etsy since 2016.

What’s the hardest part about selling online?
It’s believing in myself to keep going even if it feels like no one is listening.
What’s your daily routine like?
Well, first, I enjoy a cup of tea, and ponder about the day!
I do work full-time from home so I don’t have a concrete schedule.
I create power hours throughout the week when I do my work. I prefer to batch things on different days, that way I feel more has been accomplished.
So for example Monday is sewing day, Tuesday and Thursday are shipping days, and Wednesday is for content/marketing creation.
I am a mom and sometimes life just happens, so the schedule doesn’t always work out. So then it’s just a matter of focusing on what is the most urgent and important task and completing that first.

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to start selling online?
If you are passionate about starting, then start. Take small actions and you will learn as you go.
Your products will improve as you go. Always remember, don’t compare your beginning to someone else end. Comparison is the thief of joy. You got this!
