You can really glam it up with a dessert buffet that features gold treats along with regular ones. I put this example together and it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought, You can watch a short video showing how I did it with tips here:
Here’s a look at the gold treats I made by brushing then with Monegasque edible gold luster dust. It was really easy, the dust is flavorless, and I was surprised at how little effort it took. You can make everything gold or add a few gold treats with regular colored ones if you want to include other colors.
Gold baby shower food supplies.
You can get a lot of gold colored supplies for food and drinks that would fit right into the gold theme for your shower. Look for bridal shower or New year’s party supplies, or just search for Gold Party Supplies on Amazon to see what’s available.

There are a lot of gold decorations available for parties, so this is a fairly easy theme to decorate for. You can get a lot of generic gold decor items at big-box stores, or find them online.

I got these gold tableware accessories at the Dollar store…It’s a little hit or miss there, and the quality isn’t as good as you’ll find in other places, but if you’re going for the look when you’re on a budget, check them out first to see if you can get gold plates, tablecloths, napkins, forks, and cups.
