To decorate for a lemon-themed baby shower, you can use real lemons or get some artificial lemon branches at the craft store or on Amazon. Drape a mantel or windows with lemon-leaf greenery and wire some artificial fruit into them to make garlands.

Set up a cold station for lemon Italian ice or sherbet, or get some fruit popsicles that guests can enjoy.

Set up a candy and dessert buffet featuring pretty jars with a selection of different types of lemon-flavored candies, like lollipops, lemon drops, candied lemon peel, lemon cookies, and some other colorful summer berry flavors for contrast. If it’s a shower for a girl go with pink colors, and with blue if it’s for a boy.

Lemon Baby growth chart group activity.
Have guests sign or decorate a fabric or wooden growth chart with permanent markers instead of a traditional guest book. The parents-to-be can use it as a keepsake that they can use to mark their child’s growth through the year.
Lemon hunt.
If you have an outdoor space, do an Easter egg hunt but use lemons instead of eggs.
Lemon bingo.
Get lemon-themed bingo and other printables to play at the party. Get these cards at Greengate Images.
Guessing games.
There are a lot of guessing games to set up for guests to participate in during the party.
- Have jars full of lemon drops and have people guess how many are in each jar.
- Play a game where people estimate how big the mother-to-be’s belly is.
- Have people guess what day the baby will be born, and have a bottle of champagne that the person who’s closest will receive on display.
- Do the same thing as the due date guess, but have people guess the baby’s weight and height estimate.
“Don’t say baby” game.
Give everyone an artificial lemon slice (get them on Amazon here #ad) and if you catch someone saying “baby” within a certain time period you can take the slices that they have. If they catch you saying “baby,” they can take everything that you have back! At the end of the party (or the specified time period) the person with the most slices is the winner.
