What to use the paper for.

There are two sets of designs, one is a darker version and one is lighter.

These are formatted to be 8.5″ x 11″, so you can print them on a home printer using letter sized paper or A4.

They’re not seamless, so you can’t line them up to be a repeating pattern. They can still be used for paper crafting projects where you cut pieces of the patterns out to use in other ways.

placing the dollhouse flooring inside the room

I used one of the dark patterns for flooring in my dollhouse, so this is one way to use them.

You can also use them to make paper beads, or for junk journaling.

If you’re making a book, these were originally designs from book endpapers, so you can use them to glue into the covers to give your book a vintage look.

To see the originals of these, visit the Met’s Open Access project.

How to print the sheets.

To get the best resolution on these, use photo print settings. This is going to take longer and use more ink, but if you use non-photo print settings you might get some lines on the final print.

This might or might not matter to you, depending on what you’re going to use the sheets for, so do a test print first before you print anything on more expensive paper!

marbled paper sheets showing printed lines

When I printed my sheets I used a regular setting, so I got these faint lines on the sheets. It’s more noticeable on the darker areas.

I’m going to use these for making paper beads, so that’s fine for my purposes, but if I was going to use them for something where the full image was important, I wouldn’t want the lines on them.

Download the marbled paper files here.

For the dark colors:

For the light colors:

These are zip files, so you’ll need to download the file then extract the individual files from the zip file. Do that by clicking on the zipped file and then clicking on “extract all” from the top of the screen, or find it by right-clicking on the file.

Extracting the files will open the individual sheets and put them in a regular file so that you can use the sheets individually.

Print them on your home printer and use them in your projects! Leave a comment telling us what you made with them if you get a chance.
